| Remember as you read this that the Care And Share campaign takes place just before Christmas. This page is to explain what the campaign is all about. If you would like to be a part of the next campaign, e-mail Heidi Prahl. |
Christian Family Radio's 10th Annual Care & Share Campaign will take place November 12 - December 7, 2007 and will benefit at least 29 local shelters and emergency rooms. Area residents are invited to fill a wrapped shoe box with NEW gifts such as toys, dolls, games, mittens, or candy for someone in need. Place a sticker on top of the gift indicating age and gender of recipient, and drop boxes off at Festival Foods Stores in Green Bay, De Pere, Appleton, Oshkosh, and Fond du Lac or Pet Supplies "Plus" in Appleton. Culver's Frozen Custard in Darboy and Neenah, area Christian book stores, and the Christian Family Radio studios are also serving as collection sites.
Schools, churches, scout troops, clubs, and businesses are encouraged to
participate! Suggested gifts include NEW toys, dolls, games, books, mittens, candy,
etc. ( see an expanded list here). Attach a sticker to the top of the box indicating gender and
approximate age of the intended recipient.
A full-color flyer in PDF format is here.

A 2006 thank you note reads . . . “I wanted to let you know that very early on Christmas morning (1a.m.) a gentleman who came into the ER with a sore throat thanked me for the Care & Share men's gift I gave to him. He supposed that it would be the only gift he would be receiving this Christmas. I almost didn't give it to him as I didn't know if he would accept it, but I sure am glad that I did! Thank you for the wonderful thoughts with these packages! They sure do brighten days! - From an ER nurse
Our grateful thanks to our co-sponsors!
