Arrange a single layer of ribs in a baking pan.
Sprinkle with garlic powder, ground ginger, and soy sauce.
Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees, for ½ hour.
Drain any fat and juice that’s accumulated.
Add salt and pepper.
Arrange pineapple chunks over the meat.
If you’re not using a sweet barbeque sauce, sprinkle with brown sugar.
Smother in/cover with barbecue sauce…to taste!

Bake, uncovered for 1 ½ to 2 hours longer, or until meat is fork tender.

Notes:
- This recipe isn’t an exact science; it’s to your taste. But more importantly –it’s for any size family!  And it’s such a great meal for the time and energy it takes to prepare.
- Slice a sweet onion and arrange over the top with the pineapple chunks.
- The ginger helps give it that Polynesian flare, but if your family doesn’t like it, leave it out.
- Or use fresh grated ginger…carefully!
- Use more or less garlic.
