Summer 2007 Questions

1. How are you keeping your kids busy this summer?

 1. none home !
 2. Don't have kids - but at Summer School we are scrapbooking.
 3. swimming in the pool and summer school
 4. swimming, devotions, family camp and chores
 5. We have been bike riding. Walking the dogs and hanging out with friends.
 6. Working and hanging out at the pool.
 7. trips to library babysitting a younger sibling visiting family water toys
 8. I don't have children (thank goodness, I'm not ready).
 9. going to camps

2. With Summer here, what are some places to go that others should know about?

 1. Mammoth Cave, cave city, KY.
 2. For older children with adult supervision - the quarries in Red Granite. Menominee Park in Oshkosh. (Pretty inexpensive to ride the train & ferris wheel) Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary & Amusement Park (good day trip!) NEW Zoo in Green Bay. Budget Cinema Fox Valley.
 3. green bay. it has a lot of fun stuff for kids to do
 4. Bay Beach is one of my favorites
 5. Port Edwards Swimming Pool.
 6. NEW Zoo EAA Museum, Oshkosh
 7. NEW Zoo EAA Museum, Oshkosh
 8. Three Lakes, Wisconsin has amazing camping and fishing.

3. Share your favorite summer time memory.

 1. Picnics with my family. We always took a blanket and basket to Menominee Park and/or Bay Beach every summer.
 2. building forts in the woods near my house
 3. My favorite memory was the first time that I went to Life Fest. I asked myself "why" haven't you done this before. I am so hookednow I will NEVER miss it again. If you are wondering if you should go YES YES YES is my answer, it will be the best thing you could do for your relationship with the Lord.
 4. Camping at Deer Trail Park.. :)_We were seasonals there.
 5. Picking strawberries Picking cherries in door county with my Mom's Aunt & Uncle and then having a picnic at their home on Sturgeon Bay and watching sail boats from their dock. Picking blackberries with family at my folk's farm and with my Grandma and then making fresh pie with her. Picking raspberries at my
 6. When I was younger I would stay all summer at our cottage up north (Three Lakes). Just sitting on the pier eating peanut butter and jelly on saltine crackers. It was so much fun.
