Every time I hear Carrie Underwood sing "Jesus Take the Wheel" I am reminded again of the power of prayer and the name of Jesus. January 26, 2005 I was driving back into Hortonville for the second time that morning when I hit a patch of ice. I had already been on that stretch of road twice that morning. I rounded the curve and went into a skid. I took my hands off the wheel, felt a flash of fear and then started calmly saying "Jesus, I need your help now please." over and over again. I hit a ridge on the edge of the road and my little car started to roll. An eye witness told us I rolled my car twice that morning. When I started to pray, I felt very calm and felt a presence in the passenger seat. I just kept calmly saying "Jesus, I need your help now but if you call me home, that is okay too." over and over again. I walked away from what should have been a fatal accident without a scratch, dent, bruise, or any broken body parts.  God is an amazing God.  Thank you for what you do. The encouragement and fellowship on Christian Family Radio is important to many of us every day.
